The focus of this framework is to increase health and wellness through immersion in nature. The term Shinrin-Yoku translates to “Forest Bathing.” \nExtensive research studies have shown that routine exposure to nature through the practice of Forest Therapy/Bathing has many health benefits especially for cardiovascular health. Additional benefits include improving the immune system. It also reduces cortisol levels in the body. Cortisol is the stress hormone.
