Julia is a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook and reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in the semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, she and her husband retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled in the Williams area.
Photography interests started early on with a Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given to her by her father, a semi-professional photographer. After many years of film cameras, the advent of digital photography has expanded her interest in the hobby.
The Pacifica property has become the preferred subject of her photography because of its natural beauty. She has captured all four seasons over the past twelve years and is pleased to be able to share some of those photos with visitors to the Pacifica web site.
