Field Trips at Pacifica
Give your students an interactive learning experience in nature with a field trip to Pacifica: A Garden in the Siskiyous!
Located on more than 420 acres in the biodiverse Klamath-Siskiyou region of Southwestern Oregon, Pacifica provides an incredible outdoor setting where K–6 students can explore, discover, and learn about the natural world. Our field trips combine hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and fun, engaging environmental education.
A Day of Hands-On Learning
We will work with your school to schedule a day for your visit, with up to four classes able to participate in a single day. During the field trip, students rotate through hands-on learning stations led by our facilitators. One of the stations may include a short hike through Pacifica’s beautiful landscape, giving students a chance to explore and experience the natural world firsthand.
Each station is designed to be both fun and educational, encouraging students to observe, ask questions, make discoveries, and build a deeper connection with the natural world.
Whether students are examining plants and wildlife, exploring different habitats, creating art inspired by nature, or experiencing the excitement of learning outdoors, a field trip to Pacifica turns learning into a memorable experience.
